Jacob here, Founder of Chub. I went on a mission to make the widest skateboard for people who need a little extra board under their feet to feel comfortable. For me and many others, an injury caused me to stop skating for awhile. When I got back on my 8.8 popsicle after ankle surgery, it didn't feel right. I needed a bigger board to get back in the groove.
